Manufacturing Capability
From carbide rod to finished cutter — controlled processes for consistent performance.
Equipment & technology
Representative equipment categories used in our production workflow. Exact machine models are confirmed during a factory visit or under NDA.
5-Axis CNC Tool Grinders
Used for flute grinding, end-gash forming, relief grinding and ball-nose profiling on cutters from 0.2 mm to 20 mm.
Cylindrical & Centerless Grinders
Precision shank and pre-form grinding to ensure straightness and concentricity before final geometry operations.
PVD Coating Line
AlTiN, TiSiN, ZrN, DLC and color coatings applied to extend tool life and reduce built-up edge.
Inspection & Measurement
Optical comparators, tool preseters and digital micrometers for diameter, run-out, flute profile and coating thickness.
Equipment photography is representative. A detailed machine list is available under NDA or during a factory tour.
Process flow
Every cutter follows a documented path from raw material to packed goods.
Incoming Rod
Carbide grade verification, diameter check and batch traceability.
Pre-Grinding
Shank and blank preparation to tight straightness tolerances.
CNC Grinding
Flute, relief, end-gash and corner-radius geometry grinding.
Coating
PVD coating selected for the target workpiece material.
Final Inspection
Dimensional, surface and coating checks before laser marking and packaging.
Quality control
Consistency is built through checks at every stage, not just at the end of the line.
- Incoming: carbide grade certificate, diameter tolerance and visual rod inspection.
- In-process: flute profile, core thickness and relief angle checked at setup and hourly.
- Final: diameter, run-out, edge condition, coating thickness and sample cut tests.
- Traceability: batch numbers link each cutter back to raw material and grinding parameters.
